Introducing fixed classes for Momo, Dal Bhat, Aloo Paratha and Chapatti cooking by Sakuntala Rokka at our offices in Thamel, Kathmandu. Classes are on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Custom classes are also possible. The GO LOCAL series of products are getting to a good start. On a beautiful Saturday morning in Kathmandu, the GO LOCAL series of products at socialtours got launched with the Kumari Trail City Walk. Led by Sarita, who is an expert on the Living Goddess tradition in Nepal, the seven participants went on a three hour walk in the ‘inner’ city of Kathmandu. Along the way, they learnt about the tradition behind the Living Goddess (Kumari Devi), who is a Hindu Goddess, yet born of Buddhist parents.
