We thoroughly enjoyed our experience of Nepal through socialtours – the city tours, the Annapurna Sanctuary trek and the end-to-end package.  We would recommend socialtours to friends and family for their care and attention and most notably for their focus on responsible tourism.

As a female trekking on my own I could not have asked for a better trip in terms of organisation and the people I dealt with at socialtours.com. The service provided by them was excellent right from my first enquiry via e-mail to being met at the airport and then going into the mountains. My guide and porter were exceptional! Not only did their knowledge of the area and the local people heighten my enjoyment of the scenery, but their friendly manner, respectful consideration and good sense of humor made me feel very comfortable at all times. Nepal is such a beautiful country and my experience of it was undoubtedly enhanced by using socialtours.com. I will definitely be using them again when I return and I will also be recommending them to any of my friends who wish to visit Nepal.

Everything was perfect, no problems at all. We really enjoyed the trek, although at the time it was, for me at least, very hard work, due to my weight. The rest we had in Pokhara was perfect too, three days of strolling around and eating amazing food – unfortunately I managed to put the weight I’d lost back on

Nima was helpful in taking us around Thamel to help buy last minute items for trekking.  We all enjoyed the multiple course dinner and the dancing was wonderful!  Palyjor was the pefect guide.  He would ask us to tell him if the pace was too fast, slow or just right. He always took time to answer our many questions and taught us about Nepali culture.  He attempted to teach us words in Nepali which we were woefully poor at remembering.  He always asked us if our food was OK.  He was extremely professional and patient! The two guys who carried our bags were also professional and polite.  Jin-Jin was also helpful with bringing out our food.
