have already made made three trips with socialtours organized for different groups of pupils. I would be delighted to recommend this company to organize trips for young adults. Our trips included trekking, rafting, a jungle safari and heritage tours of the Kathmandu valley. You can rely on the professional way in which trips are prepared according to the special needs of your group, and during the trip you will always feel in safe hands. All members of staff are remarkably helpful and friendly, and the guides are well chosen.
When we travelled with socialtours my pupils did not only have a great adventure and saw a lot of beautiful landscape, they also began to understand how the Nepali people who live in a completely different culture feel and think. Without the help of this company we would not be able to develop our school partnership project with a small village school in Nepal.
After the first trip many of the students decided to go on a second or even third trip. |

City tour & Jungle Activities

Over all, very happy with our trip. socialtours staff were friendly, helpful and fun! The sign of good customer service is how you deal with a problem and learn from it, and so we feel that the way handled the Bandipur situation was a good example of this. We appreciated the flexibility, responsiveness and helpfulness of all staff at socialtours. socialtours advised us on an intinerary, which took account of our own requests and preferences and was informed by their own expertise. So we got to see everything from ancient temples to snow capped mountains and even some sightings of the very rare rhino and tiger, the latter being the surprise highlight of our trip! In addition to briefing us on our holiday activities, socialtours staff gave us insights into Nepali culture, society and also lots of useful information on socially responsible tourism in Nepal - without forcing thing on us. We are going home with lots of happy memories and hope to return one day to do one of those treks! |

We have had an amazing time . socialtours produced a very good package for us and were very helpful throughout our stay. If there was a problem(we only had one) socialtours were very quick to sort it out.Our guide and porter for the trekking part of our adventure were first rate and lovely people.We learned so much about the local cultures and wildlife (and some new card games!) |

As a solo traveller I highly suggest socialtours.com. I may have been able to plan the entire trip myself by following Lonely Planet but socialtours took out a lot of the guess work and handled the details. As an event planner I know how important these minor details can be. I was able to go with the flow and enjoy my daily activities and the local culture without being worried about missing something or getting lost. |

I travelled with Social Tours on my own and had a great time. The staff and guide were excellent and the trip was customised to my needs, and was then flexible once I was in the country, ensuring I got the maximum out of the adventure. Travelling on your own gives you the best of both worlds, being able to do things at your own pace, yet meeting up with people in the guest houses at the end of the day. And Social Tours make every effort to ensure you do and see as much as possible without compromising the experience. I felt thoroughly looked after through my stay in the country. |
