Tassi is the newest addition to our team and looks after international correspondence and trip planning. She will most probably be the first person who you would have contacted in our organisation. She writes well, as you will see, and is also in charge of most of the reports we have on team activities. She also also deeply interested in adventure which makes her one of the best persons to plan your soft adventure holidays.
Raj (actually his name is Vishwaraj Gyawali) is the Founder Director of socialtours.com and a partner in socialtreks.com He looks after the corporate marketing and strategic development of the organisation. In August 2006, he moved to Ghana, and started socialtours.com operations there.
Nima joined socialtours.com right at the very start, and worked as the Manager looking after Operations and Sales in general till March/April 2010. Nima is a trained mountain leader and gifted in leading. His contributions to socialtours.com as an Operation Manager is highly praised and appreciated. Currently, he is just a partner at socialtreks.com.
He is the one responsible for all finance and accounts of sociatours.com. Most of the time he'll be busy in the office, handling accounts even if there will be no one around!
Dynamic and creative, Prerna is a true proponent of responsible tourism and believes deeply in the spread of the concept through increasing demand for this type of tourism. She is our International Co-ordinator and lives in Paris. Withholding on the values of socialtours.com, she loves creating market opportunities and responsible sales growth. She has come from a sales, correpondence and booking background, and also has experience in our ground breaking internal responsible tourism audit. She is well placed to answer any queries you might have about our operations.

New as a staff but not new in the team, Paljyor is one of our top group leaders who joined the team as staff member. His knowledge of ground realities is paramount to your trips exceeding expectations. He supports the operations management of each trip and also trains guides on responsibible practices. He occasionally also leads trips.
Binita is our full time volunteer coordinator and also is working on managing and auditing responsible practices of the organisation. If you come on a volunteer program, it is likely that you will deal a lot with her. Communicate with her to find out more about what we offer in volunteering or to know more about the responsible practices in the organisation.
Sakuntala Rokka maintains our office, and ensures that everything is in working order and the office is ship-shape. She is also runs our canteen. We take care of the overheads for the canteen, therefore the delicious food she cooks is reasonably priced, and she makes profits out of it. When you are in Kathmandu, time your trip to our office around noon, for a delicious hot snack, courtesy of the office.
