NhonoThough Ngowang Phinjo Sherpa is his real name, he is more popular among people as Nhono. Aged 29, he started as a guide in 2001 and has been with socialtours since July 2004.

He is originally from Kutumsang, Helambu. He is trained with guide training, first-aid training and has attended the eco-tourism workshop in 2005. The main regions he has been doing guiding are the Annapurna, Everest and Langtang.
