How do I get to Nepal?

Travelling to Nepal is best by air from various hubs and also via road from India, and sparingly from the Tibet Autonomous Region. You can actually also walk over the border in North Western Nepal from Tibet.

So Air it is. Shall try to maintain an updated list of airlines servicing Nepal here. So here goes:

India - jet Airways and Air India, via Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai
Thailand - Thai via Bangkok
Singapore - Silk Air for Singapore Airlines
Malaysia - Air Asia and Malindo Air via Kuala Lumpur

The Gulf

  • Qatar via Doha
  • Etihad via Abu Dhabi
  • Oman via Muscat
  • Fly Dubai via Dubai

Turkey - Turkish Airlines via Istanbul
Bangladesh - Biman Airlines and US Bangla Air via Dhaka
Nepal Airlines the national carrier flies to hong Kong, Bangkok, Delhi, and Dubai
Himalaya Airlines another local private airline flies to Dubai, Jakarta etc.

I am usually never in the office, and my colleagues call me the Tourist. I think strategically, and align the company to the future. I enjoy developing new experiences the most, and of course nothing can beat leading a group on a unique journey through Nepal. Uh Oh I forgot, I would rather be in the mountains!
