The Kathmandu Valley has a very ancient culture, and because the valley is so fertile, agriculture strived and arts and culture developed. The valley comprises of three districts of Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur and between them they have seven World Heritage Sites. A trip through some of these heritage sites is an absolute must when visiting the country. It is a great way to knowing what a melting pot of cultures Kathmandu truly is.

All are living heritage sites, places that people use on a daily basis and this makes it incredible. Just walking through one of these sites and watching the people go about their daily lives is a remarkable experience in itself.
