It is always pleasure to work with an organization which is socially responsible. In the course of time we have very pleasant working experience with Social Tours in all aspect.

We had the most wonderful time on a Langtang trek with socialtreks. It is important to us that a travel company takes responsible travel seriously, as were very happy with the guidance on this that we received, and also knowing that the guide and porter are properly treated. Our guide was excellent at motivation and looking after us when one suffered from altitude sickness. Both guide and porter helped at all times to make us comfortable. Lodges were simple but provided hot food, heated water or solar showers and the best views imaginable. We really felt we were off the beaten track at various stages of the trek which was tailored to our abilities.
And best of all we got engaged half way round – the place (Sing Gompa) was so beautiful I think Nigel could not help himself !
The name socialtours itself signifies in some what about the responsible travel for the tourists visiting Nepal. Though more focused on trekking, this travel also includes a full day tour in Kathmandu valley to let tourists get acquainted about the art, architecture, culture and many more about Nepal in one day, which I find this travel being a responsible travel. I have been working as a tour / travel consultant and tour guide since 1987 which I find very interesting because though I have visited the interesting places of Nepal for many times but each time I get to see some new and interesting things especially each time with new interesting tourists from all over the world who come to visit Nepal.
I am very happy with socialtreks because in socialtreks every staffs are so kind and helpful and also friendly. I have been working here since 3 years ago by assitance. I hope I will do my best and I will become good guide in socialtreks.
